Our location
on the main thoroughfare in the pueblo is a location for visitors to witness
and purchase the museum quality sculpture of the master artisans.
For many years the top quality work of the pueblo only was displayed in special
exhibits and competitions. Pueblo visitors had to know who to ask for or
where to go to find the gems hidden throughout the workshops of the master
artisans.
The second floor of the gallery space serves as the workshop for master artisan
Helio Gutierrez. Helio built the two story structure after winning the
UNESCO award in 1999. The space is finally fulfilling its initial
intention as a display and demonstration space for the magnificent indigenous
and contemporary art form of the pueblo.
Can't miss the location on the comer 1/2 block south of the Alcaldia de San
